APRIL 2025 - First steps moving towards battery kit has gone well this week, using my new Stihl FSA60R battery strimmer. Battery run time is better than i had hoped. Blower will be next step,

and who knows, maybe a lawn mower in the future.

It has been a hefty initial financial investment. In addition to the tools themselves, i needed multiple batteries and chargers, and a bit more organisation to ensure batteries are kept charged.

The quieter running noise, no pull cords, no fumes, and no need to avoid a burning hot exhaust, combined with hopefully less downtime/hassle/repair costs than 2 stroke should make it worthwhile.
